I am shocked to hear it is still in business. I remember, and this was when it was PASTICCIO, that the place was FILTHY. For instance, up above the booths, where all the tchotchkes sat, there was literally INCHES of dust and dirt. (I could only imagine how clean the kitchen is
)The entrees left little to desire. My is was a fan of the pizza however :grimaces:

Where to begin? They used the old Pasticcio menu and then had practically nothing on it. Foremost was the fact that the server spoke NO English. I mean NOTHING. Nada, zilch, bupkis. But what really frosted my nipples was that the manager refused to come out of the kitchen to talk to us. I literally went back into the kitchen where he was hiding and he ran away from me! I figured nothing was worth this big a brouhaha so all 10 of us walked out and haven't been back since. As far as it being dusty, no big deal to me. I don't care how fancy a place a restaurant is the kitchen is usually questionable.
Eek! Well maybe this place is just best for Carry-Out or not.
Not like Pikesville is chockful of Pizza Places. Odd maybe, but one of the first things I notice @ a restaurant is the Parking Lot. If it is unkempt (Dumpster messy/open/scummy, unswept etc), I do make a mental note. I usually follow the the PL with the Restroom - if that is bad too I will leave ;)
Everybody has their thing tho :)
