Where can I try this? Anyone know the best place? What is it? Is it easy to make at home? Deep fried rice noodles with pad thai sauce? Thanks!
It's rice vermicelli that's deep fried to light and crispy texture and coated with a sweet and tangy tamarind sauce. It's served with bean sprouts and slivered omelette. It's not a noodle dish but an appetizer. I like the version they make at Pongsri - both the 48th and 23rd street locations are good.
