Lisco's (Jamesburg) - closed?

Lisco's Country Cafe, after a long holiday vacation, seems to be closed; windows papered over, realty sign outside.

Anyone know what happened? It was never very busy, but it didn't seem to be on the verge of closing.

If it is as it seems, it is sad; this was a cool place to have a nice, affordable breakfast (or lunch).

Yes, sadly, it seems to be true. I was meeting my uncle for breakfast there and it was just as you described. Their telephone number is out of service also.

I had some great conversations there as well as great pancakes (one could feed an elephant)
supplemented with Vermont maple syrup that I brought from home:)

It looks like it was abandoned. The restaurant business is tough.
