Late night in LIC/Sunnyside/Woodside
Before I get chewed out, I did a board search, but the results are not really refined. Plus, up to date info would be appreciated.
Where are the spots to get good to great food in the area - let's say open until midnight or later?
I usually grab some tacos or huaraches from the truck on Roosevelt/52nd, but some sit down options would be nice during this chilly weather.

re: RedVelvet
In LIC, I highly recommend the food at Dominie's Hoek. In Woodside, the bar food at Sean Og, Cuckoo's Nest and Saints & Sinners is usually pretty good but I am not entirely sure how late the kitchens stay open but I am sure it's pretty late.
I second the recommendation for Stop Inn. If you need to sober up from some drinking, I'd recommend the Irish breakfast :)-----

Not sure how late Cuckoo's Nest serves food, but I love what I've eaten there. Stop Inn diner is 24 hours and the new latin/diner place where Free Time used to be is open late on fridays and saturdays. No idea if it's any good though.
For the more adventurous, Sik Gaek is open late, so you can snack on live octopus and fried korean drunk food.

re: Jeffsayyes
What do you like at Alpha? I had breakfast there once and thought it was awful. Donuts used to be great, but now they're just lame imports from Jersey from what I've read.
Thanks for the Mangal reminder. Haven't been there in a long time.

re: Joe MacBu
the turkey club is not bad at Alpha... otherwise going the other way on Queens Blvd, Pete's Diner is ok... a totally average diner, but if you want hot food at 2am, it will do the job...
that 24 hour bagel place on Queens Blvd and 43rd is not bad at all for bagels and sandwiches...
