External links from Chow restaurant records are broken

The ability to add links to other sites is one neat feature of the Chow restaurant pages.

Here's an example: On the page for Incanto in San Francisco ( ), a user has provided a link from the Good to Know section to the chef's blog. And another: The page for Del Posto in New York ( ) links from its Reviews Around the Web section to the restaurant's four-star New York Times review. This kind of link contributes info and context that many users might find useful.

But for the past few days - maybe since the latest release? - these links haven't worked. Instead they lead to a 403 page: ("Access to the specified resource () has been forbidden.").

Links from these two fields to still work; the Del Posto page has a working link from the Reviews Around the Web section to a Chow Digest item. And external links from the pages' separate Website and Link to Menu fields still work too. But links from Good to Know and Reviews Around the Web need to be restored.

  1. Thanks, squid kun. I'll make sure engineering takes a look at the problem.
