Good sushi in San Ton-ya
I know, I know...sushi in SA. There has to be one in San Antonio that another sushi lover would know about. I need to make a visit to the big city ( live out west) in the near future and would like to take a sushi novice (likes wasabi) with us to experience the real deal.
Any ideas out there?

I'm a fan of Tokyo Inn. Total dive on the outside. totally legit on the inside.
Pro: Fresh, well contructed, no "Spurs rolls," "Alamo rolls," or "Rock and Rolls."
Con: limited menu (but what they have is good), one warm sake and one cold sake, nothing else.

re: kindofabigdeal
They are off the menu in most places.
I was in a sushi bar in Houston a few years back when the chef dropped one on my tray. Considering all of the raw stuff I had just devoured, I looked at it for a second or three then pitched it in the crusher. WOW, talk about a shrimp hit! There is a word for them but I forgot...try one next time.
