Simon Pearce or Inn at the Weathersfield

I will be in Norwich Vermont with some friends for one day in February. Have one dinner there. If I'm looking for outstanding food with fish and vegetarian options, which one of the two should I choose?

I think the Inn at Weathersfield is in a different class, though both are good...

I've eaten at both, and while I like Simon Pearce, there's no question that the food at Weathersfield is in a whole different universe. See my archived review from two years ago: http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/593176

I concur wholeheartedly with mainemal. Inn at Weathersfield is worth the trip.

Thanks so very much. That was my feeling. Reservations made and I am really looking forward to this!
