Jardinier, San Francisco, Fixed Price Menu each Monday Night
I have been at least 4 times and its always been great. I am not a drinker so I generally don't do wine pairings because its a waste of money but since its included with the cost here, its nice to be able to take a sip or two, and have the taste experience that the chef is going for.
Its a cheap way to experience the restaurant.
I've been three or four times last year. It is generally quite good. If you are interested in a theme it usually pans out well. Friends tell me of all the times they've been only the Chinese night was a bust. I don't know that anything has truly blown me away, but most of the dishes have been very good, with only a few average. It's a nice restaurant with good service and the price is right.
They typically offer a cocktail to go with the theme night, which is often good.
The wine pairings are mostly very good choices too, and often quite interesting, but they are of course very inexpensive wines. Inexpensive does not mean bad, of course, on the contrary they can be a good pointer to sub-$20 bottles of interest.
