Brunch with parents

My family and I are traveling to the City for my sister's 40th birthday in March. My parents are coming with us. We'd like to go to brunch on the Sunday we'll be in town, but I have a few restrictions. Any recc's would be appreciated.

No place where we can't make a res (I don't want mom to have to wait out in the cold)
No place where it's very noisy (mom doesn't hear so well)
No place too trendy. Tried and true would be best.
Our hotel is midtown and I would prefer to stay in that area, but am open to everything.

Thanks!

I just had brunch at Bar Boulud a couple of weekends ago and really enjoyed it. The food is very good and they have either an a la carte or prix fixe option. They take reservations and it's not too loud. In terms of being tried and true - it's been around for couple of years. It's definitely not the trendy see and be seen type of place.

I also enjoy 44 and X. if you are in midtown west this would work well. Only a la carte, good selection of eggs and sweeter breakfast options, as well as a few lunch type options. It's a bit louder than Bar Boulud, but it's not blaring by any means.

Ai Fiori for a really quiet, upscale, and delicious brunch midtown. Reservations are accepted.

        Lincoln would work as well.
