Who has been to Whopper Bar and had the bourbon burger, black and blue burger or $12.99 pizza burger ... your flame-broiled premium dining experience awaits you

... or rather who will admit they pait that for a Burger King burger.

NY PIZZA BURGER - Four WHOPPER® patties, slices of pepperoni and mozzarella cheese with marinara and Tuscan sauce on a sesame seed bun.

It's the sesame seed bun that pulls thos all together, of course.

Seriously, what is Burger King smoking? It can't just be the burgers.

Nice to know that in South Beach delivery is available ... but what if that creepy king shows up at your door?

South Beach amd Orlando have the ANGRY WHOPPER - Jalapeños, Angry onions, and a splash of Angry Sauce.

The Malaga airport in Spain has the SPANISH WHOPPER Con queso, bacon y salsas Ali-Oli y Brava.

At Burgur Bars there can be over 20 toppings and a dozen sauces which you can use to customize your Whopper.

Some of the menu descriptions are hilarious

Pickles - Finely aged in a dill brine.
Lettuce - Garden-ripe and crisp.... garden ripe?
Onions - Raw, snap and zest.

Smoked Bacon - Hardwood-smoked to perfection.
Pepper Bacon - Thick, with a hint of spice ... would that spice be, uh, pepper?

RW, you're missing the point.. These are being positioned in nightspot/hip places.
    BK's with beer.

Wow, thanks for continuing to educate me. Not just GP :) I've often thought that a fast food place with adult beverages would be the ultimate. Best, C

That pizza burger is six servings. If you read it like other listing from other sites, it's obvious it's for the whole thing. You know that, don't you?

It's not at all unusual to have different menus in different countries. You just need to get out more :)

I think "garden ripe" is a good description. I assume it to mean not in a greenhouse.

Mild urge to see if it's too much trouble to down the thing alone. But, given the location, I doubt I can resist entering a better place before I reach the destination.

I took "garden ripe" to mean that it was picked when ripe, instead of being picked early and letting it ripen either during transit or chemically.

This reminded me of the upscale McDonald's I heard about a while back.

Nope. Most nutritional packaging that I'm familiar with lists the calories per serving and the number of servings per container such as for a container of Hagen Daz
            http://www.haagendazs.com/ingredients...

I rarely see the total calories for say a box of rice or a bottle of soda ... they latter is annoying because if you don't notice that there are 2 and 1/2 servings in that bottle, you might think there are only 100 calories ... or whatever.

I just think those descriptions, as the whole 'gourmet' concept of Whopper Bar, are a sarcastic jab at foodies.

You had a totally different idea of the term 'garden ripe' than ediblover. It is a vague enough term to mean anything, but sounds very foodie, doesn't it? I picture Martha Stewart in her $1000 gardening outfit, lovingly bending over a tomato, kissed by the sun and at the peak of ripeness, just to deliver its tomato-y perfection to Whopper Bar so it can grace it's sandwiches with them.

Nutritinal info by serving is for groceries, not fast food. Or chain food. And YOU may picture Martha Stewart picking that tomato but I sure as hell don't. Sarcastic jab at foodies? What earthly purpose does THAT serve?

I think the idea is ingenious.....along the lines of the Heart Attack Burger, Carl's and Hardee's having the the most unhealthy burger in the country.....great advertising.

              Of course

The nutritional info on the NY Pizza Whopper is a bit unclear. It says six servings. I'm not sure if the numbers are per serving for the whole thing

              Calories: 2530
              Total fat: 144 g

Serious Eats has a photo. It is cut into 6 slices .. I gues pizza style.
