Girls Night Out!

HI! I am new to houston and a bunch of my friends are coming down to visit. I am living in the heights / washington area and want to take them some place really fun where we can eat and enjoy drinks afterwards without leaving! Anyone have suggesstions?? Thanks!

Max's Wine Dive or Beavers would both fit the bill. Max's is a bit more polished, Beavers is a bit more laid back and hipster. Both have good food, Max's has wine and beer only, Beaver's has a full bar.

Mi Luna on University is a fun place for the younger crowd (which I assume you are one of!). You can eat tapas there and everyone can eat as much as they like, then it is a club atmosphere later with dancing. I've been there with a large group of women (and separate checks) on a Saturday night and they were incredibly efficient and the food was great. The crowd was young and beautiful, and since I am neither, I didn't stay for the dancing. My 25 year old daughter and her friends like it for a special night out.
