Anyone know where to get sfogliatelle in the North Bay? I recently had some at a New York deli while on a trip and fell in love!

Here's the link to my post on Jan 18 on Mirella's. She doesn't make them all the time, so check ahead before making a special trip to one of her events or farmers market days.

Sfoglia bakery in Sebastopol used to make them. After it closed when the owner bought the two Village Bakery (and there's now a third in Calistoga), I suggested that customers ask him to make them again at his new venues. Here's the old post. Let us know if you have any luck.

Bistro Ginolina at 901 Third St. in San Rafael flies it in from Italy. It's light and delicious and presented beautifully.
