      Falai - (comparatively) short list, well curated, mostly small artisanal producers.

          I don't know how you define "small wine list", but I knnow that the ones I listed below have inventive wine lists and, if you're really looking to sample some good wines, then these ones have 'em.

          Hearth and/or Terroir. The well-chosen inventive wine list is a delight.. Terroir wine list is small, by my estimate.

          Plus, you'll find a lot of small nicely-chosen, well-priced Italian wines at Batali joints: Babbo, Otto, Lupa and Casa Mono (Spanish wines).

          Other Italian with robust wine list: Scarpetta and Convivio. Special mention on the Southern Italian wines at these places.
