The abosulte BEST sushi in Burbank is Sushi Dake on Olive and Verdugo in the former Von's Shopping Plaza. Generous, fresh slices, creative rolls and other concoctions - all at a very reasonable price. You can easily have a sumptous meal for around $30 per.

Or you could drive maybe 15 minutes down Olive, hop on the 101, get off at Gower and eat at Sushi Ike, which is generally regarded as one of the better overall sushi places.

It's not Burbank, I admit, but Nippon is an old favorite of mine. I haven't been in years, but I used to be a regular.

My fiance and I just moved in to Burbank and we got tired of Octopus, Zono Sushi, and Nikko Nikko. We found a new hotspot called Momotarro in Glenoaks and it's totally awesome. You gotta try their big boats of sashimi it's soooo delicious!!!!

Not a fan...the sushi was not well-made and fell apart on its trip to the soy dish.

Asanebo or Katsu-Ya next door in Studio City.
