SPRINGFIELD, VA after funeral dinner for 30-e5, Valentine's Day suggestions?

We would prefer somewhere that has a separate room. Around $30 per person or less. Any suggestions?

I have heard some good things about Sampan Cafe (Chinese, Cantonese style) on Franconia Road a bit to the east of Springfield Mall. I don't know if they have a private room or not, but you can always get in touch and find out. http://www.sampancafe.com/default.asp

Mike's American should fit the bill. I'm betting they do large groups.

I agree with Mike's. Also, Paradiso's for Italian food. I think it has good space for groups too.

Savios off of Van Dorn is GREAT, the food is perfect, the Chef Owner is very nice, talented and very accomodating. The service is always excellent. Call and ask for the owner and he'll make your planning, very easy.

When Mike's does large groups, they seat you at separate tables in the same area but not together. Plus, they have that odd phone ahead system that isn't a reservation. I can't think of a place in Springfield that fits the bill where everyone can sit together, or with a private room, and has good food.
