In between Dunedin and St. Pete?

Need a good place to take a party of 10 in a couple of weeks. Anything north of 22nd ave n would be great. American, Italian, Thai, whatever...Im hoping someone can jog my memory or something. Dont get to st pete and points inbetween as much anymore and having a brain freeze. Italian might be best for this group but all input is appreciated. And also, does anyone know what happened to Marbo on 4th st, around 83rd ave?? I see it is the tick tock diner now. The buffet was standard fare, but ala carte was some of the best Chinese/Thai I ever had. That old man could sure cook & i hope he and his family are well. Thanks Chowsters...

On the Chinese side, ABC Seafood on 54th Ave. N. in St. Pete is an excellent place for a large group. In fact, we had Chowhound function back about a year ago and it was excellent. This would be my recommendation.

The food is really good at ABC Seafood. It would be my "go to" if I lived on that side of the Bay.

Abc seems to be very popular, will be going here with or without the tribe very soon! I wish they had a website, id like to see the standard fare options for the wimps in the crowd, and 2young uns also...Have i been missing out on any good italian joints?

They do standard fare very well. I can't eat shellfish and can only eat certain types of fish, so a lot of their specialty menu is off limits to me. My husband can't walk out with out eating their West Lake Beef Soup. I have liked everything I have eaten there.
