Old Jerusalem or Truly Mediterranean?
I want to eat Mediterranean food in the Mission on Monday night. Old Jerusalem or Truly Mediterranean? I like baba gnoush, hummus and falafel.

Old Jerusalem definitely has better baba ganoush and hummus, or even better get the mossabaha, which is like hummus gone to heaven. Falafel, I'd say a toss-up.
OJ has a much longer menu with some unusual items and is a passably comfortable sit-down restaurant. TM is a tiny hole in the wall and really more of a takeout place, though they have a few stools and a little counter, plus a couple of tables on the sidewalk with the hobos.

I don't have anything nice to say about Old Jerusalem. Might I suggest Good Frickin Chicken instead? Their falafel wrap is quite good - more reliably good than their chicken, in fact. But our family favorite falafel is the one served at Fattoush. The menu there is deep with a good variety of Lebanese dishes.

GFC has really good baba ganoush too. But I thought the sitdown room wasn't open on Mondays.

old jerusalem also has some of the best baklava around; and as robert said, is more of a sit-down place.
i was not impressed with truly mediterranean. for takeout middle eastern/mediterranean in the mission, i prefer zaytoon or ali baba's cave (zaytoon is a little better, but pricier and smaller portions)

Totally agree.
I've never had anything but shawerma there, because it's what I got the first time and as soon as I walk in I can't imagine getting anything else.
