Korean Caterer in NYC

Does anyone have any suggestions for a Korean caterer in NYC? My daughter's birthday party is this weekend, and while I got some great suggestions for hors d'oeurve at the Home Cooking site, the thought of preparing everything myself is pretty overwhelming.

Has anyone ever used or attended a party catered by a Korean restaurant in NYC? Do restaurants in Queens delivery to Manhattan?

  1. KumGangSan does catering: http://www.kumgangsan.net/catering_ma...

Also, San Soo Kap San may be an option (718) 445-4850

    1. Kum Gang San uses too much MSG. Try Kang Suh http://www.kangsuh32.com/

      You won't be dissapointed!!

      1. I had my wedding at Chom Chom restaurant on 56th Street between 5th and 6th. They have a nice upstairs room for private parties and their food is delicious (and I am a picky Korean-American who grew up with the best Korean mother chef). It's modern Korean cuisine, and I'm sure they do off-site catering too. Good luck!

        1. Kang Suh caters food for events. More then that there food is great! Korean and non-Korean both love their food. You should definitely get it from Kangsuh if you havent already.

          1. I know the OP's occasion has come and gone, but in case this topic pops up again and someone searches for Korean caterers - I think both Kum Gang San and Kang Suh are mediocre at best. I've never used their catering service, but I can't imagine it's that much better than their restaurants. If you are picky about your Korean food, I would not recommend either.
