Wholefood's at Lomo Alto sells fresh and packaged ground Bison.
Central Market sells (at least they used to) Bison NY strip steaks. They're very good!

Hirsch's usually has some raw frozen. Think I've seen it at Kuby's too. CM will carry it from time to time. Ye Ole Butcher Shoppe servers buffalo burgers so I know they have it too.

If you have a Sprouts, ask there. Ours used to carry it all of the time and now they get from time to time. Market Street also has had Bison in their meat counter majority of their time. They had strip steaks and ground.

I've found it at the Southlake Sprouts, but that was about 6 months ago and since I don't eat it I haven't really been looking for it. Even though I didn't taste them, I was told that the bison steaks I got were excellent by the beef eaters I was trying to "convert".

It seems to show up in abundance at most grocery stores like Sprouts or Newflower/Sunflower market at random times. At Newflower in dallas, they usualy put up a sign outside saying Bison Now Available (I have actually wondered why Bison is "seasonal", so if anyone knows, please enlighten!)

The Indians only hunt them a few times a year.

Sprouts has "free range, grass fed, organic" bison on sale this week. Just saw it in their weekly flyer.

I must concur. In addition, all Sprout's meat and poultry products are excellent.
Off topic, Sprout's organic grass raised ground hamburger meat (from Uruguay) is the best tasting in Dallas.
Much more flavor than even, Wholefoods!
