Oyster River Tavern in West Haven is open again

The Oyster River Tavern on the West Haven/Milford town line is open again after being closed for about two years. Has anyone been back since it reopened? Is the food still as good as it used to be?

    Just an update, my Brother and Sister inlaw ate there this week and said the food is just as good as they remembered.

      I remember the fried clams were too heavily breaded and way too greasy. Your better off heading to Jimmies

      Thanks for letting us know. We used to love this place and can't wait to go back. Will definately post when we do. I dream about their stuffed clams. Hope they are as good as I remember.
