Great fish & maybe great tequila?

Taking a colleague I haven't seen for ages out for dinner on Wednesday. Would love great food in a mid-sized or small restaurant where we can hear each other. Ideally, it would be within 15 minute train ride from Wall Street, and ideally, they would take a reservation. I'm pretty easy on price. Having great fish (any cuisine) is more important than having great tequila; having both would be a score. Thanks for your thoughts.

Toloache and SHO are WORLDS apart. Would help to know what kind of atmosphere you're looking for.

If you catch the right express trains, you can get to Toloache in 15-20 minutes. Great fish (ceviche) and AMAZING tequilas. Just went a week or so ago and loved it.

Fish and Tequila can both be found in high quality at Zengo. Problem is its not in your geographic area.

Thanks. I've never even heard of Zengo - my loss, I guess. There's a newish (?) tequila library in that area too. Have you been?

I haven't been to Zengo, but it's near Grand Central. On the 4 or 5 train from Wall St, that should be no more than a 20-minute ride.
