Joey Garlics to open in W. Hartford, CT??

Hello-
Ok, I just heard a rumor that Joey Garlics is set to open a location where Barb's pizza was opened on the corner of Park Road and S. Quaker Lane. Anyone hear about this? I checked their website and didn't see anything about a new location.

I hope it's true. While Park Lane Pizza is right across the street I would be down for Joey-Love in my nabe.

Hope they also have the burgers, they're pretty good. Love the eggplant fries too, although last time I got an order it was almost $10!

Already dreading trying to find parking in that tiny lot, too.

Was at Joey Garlic's in Newington and they said they WERE moving into the old Barb's pizza. It will not be the full menu, but rather, pizza and subs. Hoping for a June opening. (I haven't seen any progress, but you never know...!)

It seems like such a small spot for Joey Garlic's. Anyone know what's going into the old Bennett's card shop in the Center? I saw a town zoning sign in the window...

Not a restaurant as far as I know. Heard it's going to be a store similar to LUCY in blue back.

I saw a posting on craiglist that they were hiring for their new restaurant in West Hartford so I believe it is true!
