Carmel for Pebble Beach Pro-Am
Staying in Carmel for Thursday and Friday nights during the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Any suggestions for breakfast and dinner would be lovely! Have never stayed in Carmel before so I am a complete novice. Something casual and not too fancy would be great. Good bar, good food. Thanks a bunch!!!

Passionfish is my fave in Pacific Grove next door to Carmel..
Wish I could be there following my boyfriend, Freddie Couples! -
Andy gave you some great suggestions, however the downtown Carmel restaurants will be packed. So, unless you want to be in the thick of things, I would suggest some outside of Carmel proper.

I was in Carmel in October and had some wonderful, casual meals.
Cafe Dametra is a fun place. They make you feel like family and serve solid, Greek/Mediteranean food at reasonable prices. The singing and dancing by the help/owners on the 1/2 hour is a hoot. Cantinetta Luca is excellent Italian with homemade salumi, wood fired pizzas, terrific pasta with shaved white truffle, and great bisteca.
We also enjoyed lunch at Mundaka and Phil's seafood in Moss Landing
