Quarter Century Birthday Celebration in Toronto

I'm looking for a lounge/bar type restaurant for a few of my girlfriends and I in either the downtown core or yonge and finch area. Price is flexible, as long as it's worth spending the money on we don't mid. We're basically looking for a good time with good food and fun atmosphere. We're up for anything as long as it tastes good. Any suggestions? Cuisine types could be almost anything as long as it's worthy of a 25th birthday celebration! I'm thinking Japanese/sushi or Italian but I'm open to any suggestions.

Ame would totally fit the bill for Japanese/sushi and on Thurs, Fri, Sat they have a dj abd superclub kinda thing happening.

I think Origin would fit the bill - it's small plates (lots of sharing), right downtown so you can head out for drinks and/or dancing after and delicious.
