    I'll have to admit, Leslie Brenner's reviews are as inconsistent as D magazine's writers are consistently racially insensitive and pretentious. Her reviews never match up to the star ratings she dishes out for the restaurant. Whenever I do find myself reading a review from the paper, I ignore the stars and just read the review and usually I come out completely perplexed about what I've just read.
