Popchips in Montreal?

certifiedfresh Jan 13, 2011 10:01 AM

I was wondering if anyone knew where one could get popchips in Montreal (www.popchips.com). Apparently you can find some in Toronto (http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/667586) so they're not US-only. Can't comment on the taste though as I've never had any! I'm just curious to try them; if you've ever tried them, what is/are your favourite flavour(s)?

There is information on their site

It seems like they are sold exclusively through Pharmaprix. The colours and styles of the bags do look familiar but I can't guarantee I have see them there

Put your postal code in the store locator and it will show you a map of locations. Looks like they are available at all Pharmaprix and Loblaws outlets.

The nearest Pharmaprix for me is in Alexis-Nihon... Any chance someone has seen them there?

They have them at Pharmaprix in Verdun near De L'Eglise metro = $2.89/$2.99 I think for an 85g bag. They have original, salt and vinegar, bbq and sour cream and onion.

Sorry I didn't report back earlier! I found them at the Alexis-Nihon Pharmaprix on Saturday and they had both the Original and Barbeque flavors available ($3.29/85g). They are quite tasty (not to mention mildly addictive); nice alternative to regular potato chips.

They have the BBQ flavor at Costco. They're quite good.

Costco now also has the Cheddar cheese flavour. I tried the BBQ Popchips. I liked the chips themselves, but I wasn't crazy about the BBQ seasoning.

I buy them allt he time at Pharmarix on the corner of Ste-Cath and St-Alexandre. They have BBQ, Sour Cream and Onion, Original, Sea Salt. I Like them a lot. Plus 360 calories in one full bag. Better than Crispy Minis and much tastier.

Just bought, based on this post, two bags at Pharmaprix on Sherbrooke near the Metro. BBQ not so good. The sour cream are much better.

                    Popchips at Loblaws Angus:

They had bar-b-que, salt and vinegar, regular and sour cream.
