superfast sitdown good food for lunch around 7th and Townsend?
Boss has given me a serious lunch challenge: we have from 11:45 to 12:45 to enjoy a sitdown mealomewhere near 7th and Townsend, MUST be back at the office by 1PM. The real challenge is this wasteand of a "neighborhood"- finding sitdown food that rocks that can be ordered and eaten in under an hour is near impossible. Skool maybe, SO perhaps....anyone else have any ideas? Maybe over by 6th and Folsom there could be something? Cabs are too unreliable so it's gotta be walkable. Ideas?

7th and Folsom has a lot of places to choose from (I like Radius or Basil Thai). How about Marlowe? I've only been there for dinner so I'm not sure how fast the lunch service is.
Is 11:45 to 12:45 just for time spent at the restaurant, or does that include travel time as well?

Well, it's not so fancy schmancy as Marlowe, but Mars at 7th and Brannan makes a decent burger, has some other good sandwiches, and good salads. It's big with the Hall of Justice courthouse crowd.

Mars is great and I was going to suggest it, but I wasn't sure if the OP wanted something fancy or not. Ha.
