Trying to find some Québécois items in Calgary!

I travel out East every once in a while and always bring a few things back: creton (meat spread, usually done with pork or veal) and cheese curds.

I've been trying to find somewhere in Calgary that carries any form of creton (which I believe is a québécois spin on rillettes?) but I don't even know where to start.

Aswell, anyone know of a good place for cheese curds? I've been to springbank cheese in willow park but apparently they don't do curds?

Thanks!!!

I've bought cheese curds from Springbank in Willow Park several times.

There used to be a booth in the Calgary Farmer's Market that specialized in Quebecois goods. Let me see if they're open in the new market (coming in February)... YES:

They serve creton at Cora's. I had it when I was in Montreal and loved it. I now have it every time we go for breakfast at Cora's. However I have not seen it in a store before.

Costco sells huge bags of curds as well as other Quebecois cheeses and Dunn's smoked meat. Also the cheese shop in the middle of Crossroads sells Quebecois cheeses. Montreal Bagel on Elbow, well, you get it, very good ones too. I think Willow Park might carry Quebecois ice ciders.

Walmart Supercentres have started carrying Ste-Albert cheese, and theirs are the curds I grew up with in Eastern Ont/Quebec. We used to get Lafleur's Cretons at the Quebec vendor in CFM but since it's closed... ETA Just found the City Palate ad - A Taste of Quebec is moving to the new CFM.

I found a mention on an old thread about Alberta King of Subs having it... I checked and it's still on their menu for $5.75 - I wonder if they're selling it by the jar?

I am sure I have seen cheese curds at the cheese shop in Crossroads / Stockyard Farmers Market across the isle from the till.
