Kissimmee Steak House

Anyone been? Is it any good? We have a hockey game at the nearby arena and, when I googled the area, I came up with this place. Seemed to have good reviews but..... Any help appreciated.

  1. Kissimmee is pretty dead, but a 10-15 minute drive puts you at some great steak joints. My reco would be do what you gotta do in Kissimmee and then go eat somewhere else.

The problem is that the game is at 9:20 and we have to be there by 7:45 at least so..... we felt it was best to be nearby in case of slow service, etc.

No clue then. Let us know how it pans out!

Worst food I've had in months!

Amazing they are still open - must get tourist only.

However ,this is only my personal opinion.

      3. This steak place used to be good. However not anymore, has realy gone downhill, poor quality steaks now, can't even bake a potatoe correctly. There are some alternatives. In St Cloud, 10 minutes away, Mambo's Cuban Cafe, very good Cuban food, It's on US192 (13th Street) just as you enter St. Cloud. If your a Outback fan ( I am not) there is one just a few more blocks down from Mambos, in the Gold Gym Plaza. About 20 minutes away in downtown Kissimmee, on Daikin Avenue at Main Street, are two restuarants, can't remeber their name, the larger retuarant on the corner serves variety sandwiches, apps, entrees, is okay, nothing special. The smaller one has pretty good food, usually very flavorfull. In between the two restuarants, on th esame street is a nice wine bar and a sushi place. If it's nice and you sit outside, you can get wait service and order from any or all of the places. I tend to mix and match when I sit outside, especially for drinks. The owner of the wine bar is a ex Wine Spectator Magazine staffer, he has selected some very tatsy wines for his shop.

Thanks, we'll skip it! A bunch of team members want to do the Outback as they can get healthy food - no fried foods, sodas, etc. for the boys before a game - so I guess we'll do that. Not the best but not bad.
