Pacos Tacos Charlotte

Haven't been - interested in trying, but a bit leery. As a Texas native who was raised on Tex Mex, I would love to find Pacos fits the bill

    Non-Texans will never understand.

They are part of Charlotte Restaurant week if you just want to try without having to pay too much. I think it is like 4 courses and a drink(margarita) for the $30.

Robb Walsh - noted cook book author and former editor of Chili Pepper magazine - is supposed to be the guest at a special dinner sometime soon. I believe he was the menu consultant for the place.

Definitely give it a try. We've gone a few times. last time I got the steak fajitas. Best I've had in a long time. Love the hammered mteal behind the bar. Prices are great too. Nothing to fear. Frank Scibelli (aka King Midas) knows how to do it.

Its just food. Fear not! They have a smoked brisket taco that is mighty tasty. Cant see not liking it. For sure nothing to fear. Buck up.

I'm a Texas native and I tried the smoked brisket taco last night. It was fabulous!
