King Fung II in Brookline

Today, some flyers were left at my building; and I've never heard of this place before. Has anyone been or gotten take out? What's good? Thanks.

Doris and Erwin of the original Chinatown King Fung are there. They sold the Chinatown restaurant a few years ago and moved full time to Brookline. You can still get Peking Duck, Shanghai Chow Mein, Scallion Pies, etc there. Still very Yummy!

FYI, Doris is the niece of the original owner who was sometimes referred to as Brezhnev for his resemblence.

Do a search for "King Fung" AND Breshnev on chowhound and Google.

Doris and Erwin are really wonderful people!!!

Are you talking about the little take-out place on Rte 9 near the corner of Cypress St. in Brookline?

I think Peking Duck needs to be ordered in advance, yes?

That was the case downtown. I was curious if they still do a decent Peking Duck...

Yes, you should order in advance.

In my opinion it is the same quality as when they were in Chinatown.

Isn't this the newer outpost of the popular King Fung Garden in Chinatown? You can probably find a number of references to them on this board. Sad since their move to Brookline - I miss their rendition of peking duck and the 3-course duck meal.
