Is it possible to buy dry pack scallops in Calgary (that is, ones that are not treated with phosphates, which is done to keep them moist and plumped up with water)?

They only source seafood without Sodium Tripolyphosphate.

Thank you all very much for the information. It seems impossible to get a good "sear" on phosphate-treated scallops, and I read somewhere that the treatment was the reason. I will seek out dry pack scallops then!
