Fancy Lunch in Westchester
Looking for a great lunch to celebrate my birthday on MLK day. Baby will be at daycare, so my wife and I will have a few hours of freedom. I wanted to do BLT (only because I love the ones in NYC so much and am having a popover craving), but I don't think they have lunch. Was also going to try Benjamin Steakhouse in Hartsdale, but they are closed on Mondays.
We're on the Briarcliff/Ossining border, so we don't really want to travel more than 45 minutes tops. I've obviously listed steak as a preference, but seafood would be nice as well.
Any suggestions?

Ended up going to Crabtree's Kittle House. I've been meaning to go for a while. It was ok, probably won't be returning. Service was very slow. Took about 10 minutes for us to get menus (bread and water had already arrived at least). The soup was delicious. My wife had a chicked dish that was ok, I had the burger. It was overwhelming in size, and underwhelming in flavor. Supposed to be a Lafrieda blend. I'd prefer Shake Shack any day of the week.
The decor is ok. Felt kind of fake (the drop-ceiling is a turn off, for sure). We were also the youngest diners there by 15-20 years (we are both in our early 30's).
Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Flames, Red Hat, X20, and Harvest (along with the others) are all on our list!

So sorry the lunch experience was not as lovely as we'd all want it to be for you! We've only eaten dinner there (back in September or so) and had a very good experience. Definitely check out those other spots (I really like Red Hat) for future lunches. Hope it was a happy birthday, otherwise! Quiet dining time with one's spouse is always a good thing. :-)

The Cookery is amazing. Hope you get there. He and many other local chefs are doing cooking demos for WCC adult education A Taste of Westchester program. www.sunywcc.edu
You get to eat what they show you how to make in their restaurant. Fun classes.

Crabtree's Kittle House in Chappaqua should do the trick! Much nicer outing since they redecorated the place, and open on Mondays.
