Where to find sloe gin?

Talking the real sloe gin not the juvenile crap. Any advice where to buy?

  1. I've bought Plymouth sloe gin at the Newtonville Marty's (haven't seen it at the North Beacon store, but then, haven't looked) and seen it at Martignetti's.

Thanks. Marty's does have it. Overpriced at $42 but they have it.

Ouch, it was $36 when I bought it there.

What's the difference. I haven't had any since college, where it was mixed with SoCo, vodka and orange juice for the "sloe comfortable screw". I remember it tasting kinda like cough syrup.

Whereas this stuff tastes like gin infused with blackthorne berries.

      3. Think I saw the Plymouth (an excellent product, not cheap) at Liquor Land near South Bay.

        1. Also saw Plymouth once at Giorgiana's on Tremont St. in the South End.

          1. Bought some at Cambridge Wine & Spirits in Alewife a couple months ago...good stuff, but a little pricey

I got some Sadar Pacharan (with the Castillian spelling on the bottle) at Bin Ends in Braintree a few months ago - not bad but not as good as whatever they have at Estragon.
