    There's a great place across the street from the Jean Talon Market that I can never remember the name of, but they do them really well... I'm sure someone else will be able to fill in the blank for you.

      Casa Cacciatore (sp?) used to make a great one, but they went out of business. Are you thinking of Jos et Basil (a butcher)? I'm curious...if anyone has anything to add, please let me know! :-)

        I'm partial to the eggplant sub at Amelio's in the McGill ghetto. Nice sized egpplant pieces, sauce is pretty good. You won't regret it.
