Beef arm roast?

Hello. A friend of mine gave a chunk of beef arm roast, bone in, about a pound and half. The problem is that I have never cooked this type of cut. Can anybody give me some advice as to the best cooking method? I'm assuming it can be utilized as any other roast? Many thanks in advance.

  1. Your beef arm roast is well suited for either braising, grilling, or broiling. Any of those method will give you a very nice roast. My preference would be a braise.
