Deviled Eggs

Founding Farmer's deviled eggs were featured on the Food Network earlier this week (Robert Irving named them his favorite dish in a The Best Thing I've Ate episode dealing with Reinvented Classics).

I love deviled eggs so this got me thinking "What other menus do deviled eggs appear on in DC and does Founding Farmer's really have the best?"

Personally my favorite deviled eggs can be found at Acadiana. These are down right addictive. So so good!

But I'm willing to do a fair amount of research to make sure Acadiana is really #1. Where else can I find these delicious treats?

I will second those Acadiana deviled eggs! The problem I have with ordering deviled eggs at a restaurant is that I eat them in literally seconds. Cousin Trudie made fantastic deviled eggs back in the day and I'm guessing I would eat at least ten at a time.

Ray's has a steak tartare deviled egg, but honestly I'd rather have a regular one myself.

I've seen them before at Bittersweet in Old Town, but I don't think it's a regular item there.

Hmmmm steak tartar deviled egg? That doesn't really sound all that appealing to me. But then again I'm not a huge steak tartar fan.

2 Amy's have them and they are outstanding. Comes with a green sauce on the side that is quite good.

What's the green sauce made of?

Parsley and scallions (I think) lots of garlic and anchovies. Maybe some lemon juice.
