I'm looking for a nice non-family type restaurant that is also somewhat baby-friendly. I'm planning on going out for a nice dinner with my sisters and one will be bringing her 1 year old. Looking for a place somewhere in north toronto - noth york. Any suggestions? Price range would be around 15-30 entrees. Thanks so much!

You can't throw a stick without hitting a baby in North Toronto these days. Most upscale restaurants in North TO keep their mains under $30 these days anyhow, so I'd just choose a restaurant that you like. Not likely too many North TO restaurants are going to turn away customers in January, since January and cottage season are the slowest times of the year for North Toronto restos.

Zucca, Simple Bistro , Zee Grill or Quince might be a good bets. Slightly more economical, Grano is baby-friendly.

In North York, Mezza Notte is decent and baby friendly. Paese on Bathurst between Wilson and Sheppard is also baby friendly.

Call ahead to let the restaurant know you're bringing a baby, so they're able to give you an appropriate table and a high chair if you need it.

I once went to Wildfire when my son was about a year. Very baby friendly.
