Sudbury resturant advice needed!

Hi

I could use some help. I would like to get a gift certificate to a resturant in the Sudbury area for my friend and her husband, who just got married. I dont know the area because I live out of state. I would really appreciate some help.

I am thinking of spending about $100 - so somewhere nice but not that expensive would be great. Also, I am not sure if the new husband is a person that woud experiment with food or not. So some place "safe" that would appeal to people with mainstream tastes would be great . Any ideas?

I would suggest Bullfinchs Restaurant - varied menu; open for Sunday brunch as well as dinner; something for everyone there. I think the website is www.bullfinchs.com but you might have to do a google search for the right URL.

Bullfinch's is good. and romantic. Coach Grille on route 20 on Wayland/Weston line is also good.

I second the Coach Grille. As a matter of fact, I'm taking my wife there on Monday for a birthday dinner.

Sudbury doesn't have much in the way of restaurants, though Oishii may be a good option (not sure if you want a place a bit more "safe," however):

Does the place have to be in Sudbury? Can it be in a neighboring city or town? If so, Framingham and Marlborough have a few places that are decent, including Allora (Marlborough).

if you want to be really safe you could do a gift card to Legal Seafood. There are many locations in Greater Boston including one in Framingham that is probably 10-15 minutes from Sudbury.
