UWS kosher bakery

I'd like to pick up a challah and a parve dessert for Shabbat tonight while on the UWS. Any bakery open late- until about 8 or 8:30?

I know Fairway has great challahs.. but what about parve pastries or desserts?

There is no such thing as an UWS bakery. The closest you get would be Fairway or Supersol. I tend to prefer Supersol's baked goods.

Oh, and 8:30 is not late for the UWS. Supersol closes at 11pm on Thursday night. Fairway is 24/7. Kosher Marketplace is 9:45.

I think MMF on 72nd has some pareve stuff too. But yes, Avitrek is right, sadly, we have no bakery! supersol stuff is pretty good though.

Thanks! Didn't know Fairway was open 24/7- we'll prob end up there before or after dinner.

Fairway isn't open 24/7. It closes at 1am. That may not affect your plans, but if dinner runs really really late, you may be out of luck.

1am should be fine. If we get a parking spot in the area with time to spare before dinner, we'll go in before. Thanks!
