Is Upland close enough? San Biagio's Pizza, then dessert at Handels ice cream.

Yum, and double yum. I'll take a slice with sausage please, then a scoop of Coconut Cream Pie on a sugar cone.

Agreed with San Biagio's, for me, the best pizza in the area. It's sort of NYC style.

Fratello's Pizza & Pasta, also in Upland has good pizza.

Isn't there a take out only branch of Petrillo's in Upland on Mountain?

Yes, in a stripmall on the NE corner of Moutain and Arrow Highway.

You sure you're not getting Petrillo's and Petrilli's, notice one has an O and the other has an I near the end of their names?

I believe Petrillo's has only the San Gabriel & Glendora locations.

You're right, sorry about that, the take out place on Mountain in Upland is Petrilli's.

Agree with San Biaggio in Upland. There are two locations one on Mountain and 7th and the other on 19th and Campus. Handel's can only be found at the Mountain location.
I'm fond of Red Devil Pizza on Foothill and San Antonio, too. Great crust, great toppings, and the owners are super nice folks.

The Red Devil in La Verne is pretty awesome too.

Also agree on Red Devil. I personally like the thinner, NYC style of San Biaggio, but Red Devil is good and very flavorful.

I like Pizza Barn in La Verne, much better than Red Devil and Mario's Ultimate Sandwich is great too.

While Pizza Barn was good, I still like the pie and service better at Red Devil. Also not to miss at RD are their jalapeno & cheese breadsticks and a cup of the peppery Roland's sauce...neither of which are on the menu.
