Sticky Fingers-style wings in DFW?

We just returned from a trip to South Carolina and had some good wings at Sticky Fingers bbq restaurant.

Unlike typical wings that are deep-fried and coated in sauce, these are dry-rubbed, smoked and then flash-fried yielding a crispy skin. There's no sauce and they're not oily.

Anyone know of wings with a similar preparation in the area?

Kelly's Eastside in Plano rub them then smoke them......then they put sauce on them and serve. The people there are normally pretty accomodating....they might fry them if you ask.
