Help! Need a caterer in Hartford, CT area... fast.

Hi Everyone,

We are getting married really quickly, and need to find a caterer... yesterday.

We need it to be Kosher- or Kosher style.

Has anyone any recommendations?

Also, if you've used Jordon Caterers, Emily's Catering (Rick Kerzner), Margorie Guzman or Cafe Louise, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Went to an event recently catered by Ann Howard. It was really good. Not sure about the Kosher aspect, but I assume that a caterer of Ann Howard's reknown could do whatever you want.

I dont see a lot of traditional jewish foods on the catering menu-if that is what you are looking for-but I am sure they would put together anything you like.
It wont be cheap though!

i used The Whisk for a small dinner party last year and they were really great. (Cafe Louise was also on my list but i got the feeling, speaking with them, that they didn't want to bother with a small group.)

If you need to do it fast and if the date is available, you might be best off with a package deal at Chez Josef in Agawam. They do treff, kosher and kosher style. Sometimes when you're in a hurry, a wedding palace makes the most sense.

For Kosher or Kosher style, here's who's local:

Catering by Shuman (Avon, and just opened a deli in Bloomfield)
( I have used him before, pretty good)
Yosi Kosher Catering (have not used them but the local Whole Foods uses him)
The Whisk (Canton CT)
Margery Gussak Catering, Manchester (maybe this is who you meant by Margorie Guzman? She's been in the area for awhile, people like her)

I am a HUGE fan of Rick at Emily's and if you want Kosher, he can do that too.

I am a wedding planner and he is always on the top of my vendor list!
