Xi'an Famous Foods Looking To Open Near Columbia U.

I must sound like a shill for them, but I'm jealous that there's no Xi'an style food in the U.S. outside of New York City. Their Facebook page indicates they're looking to open in the vicinity of Columbia University, which is good for the Chinese food starved people in that part of town.

Nobody goes there anymore its too crowded. Truth be told, I frequented the East Broadway location and they lost me when they raised prices.

Haha, come on-- let's cut them some slack. Most of the recipes are easily repeatable and I don't mind being able to get the liang pie cold noodles anytime, anywhere.

It's a Yogi Berra quote, and I read it as a joke. Whether Yogi was trying to be humorous or serious is up for interpretation. I like to believe the former. Either way, it's one of my favorites.

At this point, where aren't they going to open a tiny shop? Wonder if they have enough Bourdain photos and Kelly Choi videos to cover every location?
