Need a traditional NY steakhouse recommendation near Radio City

I am taking my fiancé to a concert for his birthday and would like to take him to a special dinner at a traditional NY steakhouse. I have done Keen's already so hoping for something else, but in a similar style. Great food and great service would both be must-have's.

  1. There's nothing like Keen's. Keen's is unique.

    1. Del Frisco's is a block away. Consistently very good steaks. Great ribeye. Decor is more new school versus Keen's classic old school. Can't beat the location and convenience to Radio City.

I can be flexible with the "near" for good steak : )

I had a great meal, recently, at Club A Steakhouse. It's located on 58th, between 2nd and 3rd. Their bacon makes Luger's look like a strip of Oscar Meyer's.

            Club A Steakhouse
240 East 58th Street, New York, NY 10022

          1. I happen to like Morton's better than some of the classic places, but its a "chain."
            Bobby Vans E53rd st.
            Maloney & Porcelli E50th st.
NYC classics a bit furthur east
            Sparks E46th st.
            Smith & Wollensky E49th st
            Palm 2nd ave near E45th
            or furthur West
            Gallagher's W52nd

They are all about the same IMHO. Ive had great and bad meals at all of them.
