Milk delivery to South End, Brookline, JP, West Roxbury, etc!
For all that know about Thatcher Farm, and for those that don't I just wanted to let you know that they are now delivering to the South End, Brookline, etc. For a complete list see their website. We just started with them a month ago and have been thrilled. With a four item order there is a no delivery fee and the milk is delicious and very reasonably priced (1/2 gallon for $2.99). They have eggs, cheese, yogurt etc from other farms as well.

Just for the balance, I'll note that Crescent Ridge Dairy also delivers in most if not all of those areas, plus Allston, Cambridge and Somerville.
We've been Crescent Ridge customers for nearly a year now and recommend them highly.

Last I heard, Crescent Ridge does not deliver to Boston proper. The Thatcher guys are so nice, on a really cold morning, they left my milk in the box I leave out for them and they called me to tell me to take it in, so that the milk wouldnt freeze and explode....so nice.

And they're delivering to us in Allston, because they have Brookline deliveries fairly nearby. Allston is not in their official delivery zone, but we called and asked, and they added us.
They do charge a delivery fee, although it's discounted because we pay monthly by EFT. But since we're in Allston we didn't have a lot of options for home delivery of dairy, and it's been well worth it to us.

I have been getting Thatcher Farm for about a year now and love it. They are the nicest people and the milk is great!

I wanted to add that their skim milk is the only skim milk I can drink. For some reason, it has a much richer taste than others.
