What's better value at le bernadin - prix fixe lunch or the tasting menu?

Never been and wondering if I will be missing out by just doing the prix fixe lunch or should I go at night and do the tasting menu instead? TIA

I've been fortunate to have done the chef's tasting menu for my birthday dinner last week and lunch two months ago. I thought that lunch was the better value ... but I also don't tend to overindulge at lunch like I do at dinner. And of course at dinner, especially during the holidays, the room is so pretty. Some of our favorite dishes are available at both dinner and lunch.

experience the full on tasting menu.

Can't go wrong with either option, though the appearance of the infamous sea urchin-Osetra caviar pasta dish may sway you towards the tasting menu route. FWIW, the Chef's Tasting Menu is available during lunch as well.

Yes, the seven course tasting menu is available during lunch, according to the reservationist. Going soon and I can't wait....

So I went with the tasting menu. Fantastic. Food and service were both sublime. Heartily recommend.
