Homemade Cream Cheese?

Hi there - anyone ever made cream cheese from scratch? Wondering about technique and whether it's worth it. Thanks!

  1. I have been considering this lately, given the price of Philly. Has anyone made their own,and then used it to make cheesecake, etc? The store brands, for some reason, never seem to give the same results.

    1. i've made mascarpone... and used it in cheesecake and tiramisu...
