Need recommendations for LBI / Manahawkin rehearsal dinner spot
Help! I'm getting married this June at Bonnet Island and am looking for a restaurant for a sit-down rehearsal dinner, about 50 people, in the area. I've only been to some of the seafood shacks on the island and don't really know any of the nicer places. I've already looked into the Plantation, The Gables, and The Engleside. The Plantation and Gables seem really pricey, and the Gables seems a little old-fashioned. Any other options? Anywhere from Manahawkin/Stafford to the entire island is fine.
We both love seafood, American, Japanese, Italian, etc, so we're open to anything. BYO or full bar is fine, but would prefer a full bar. I know that higher prices don't always mean better food/experience and we just want a special night to thank our family and friends before our big day. Thanks for any suggestions!

On the island you can try the Surf City Hotel, Buckalew's in Beach Haven, Pinziminio's in Brighton Beach, Bistro 14 in Beach Haven, and The Boat House in Beach Haven. I think the Spray Beach Inn also does rehearsal dinners. Best wishes!

La Spiaggia in Ship Bottom has excellent food, good service and is a classy place.
