New Year's Day buffet brunch

Where in the bay area can a party of 12 go for a buffet brunch on New Year's Day? We would like to spend less than $45 per person, so places like the Garden Court and the Top of the Mark are out. I'm having trouble getting results online and I'm tired of calling around and hearing "no".... I've been at it for 6 hours now. Please help! TIA

I looked on Open Table and they had no room for 10 tomorrow or for the next 8 weeks.:-)

Open Table is not the right place to look for availability for a party of ten, I'm sure Farmer Brown will have space in the next 8 weeks, it's not in that much demand (and usually isn't full, except for the bar). But they don't have a buffet brunch, I don't' think.

No availability for a party of 10 for eight weeks means that the OT system isn't configured to accept reservations for parties that large, period, and the Web site isn't smart enough to pick that up and remove that option from the drop-down.

Large parties, you always want to call. Even with smal parties it's always worth the effort to call the restaurant rather than taking OT's word for it.

Only indicating that the option was available and 1 days notice on a large party is kind of chancy. No need for an explanation of how Open Table and reservations work but thank you. BTW is smal smaller than small.

In that price range I've heard good things about Hs Lordships -- at the very least it has a nice view: http://www.hslordships.com/

I had a buffet lunch at Hs. Lordships this summer that was some of the worst food I've had in the Bay Area. I would recommend the food to no one.

the regular Brix buffet brunch is $33, you'd have to call to see if it's more on new years
